If you’ve opted to finance your system, we’ll acquire a financing approval from one of our many financing options. If you’ve opted to pay cash, we’ll collect a down payment of at least 10% of the total project investment. We’ll complete all necessary documentation for the project & get it submitted to the main office for immediate processing.
The Process
2. Site Assessment
One of our site evaluation experts will come to your home to conduct a “Site Survey”. This assessment will include an inspection of your roof, the electrical panel box, shading analysis, roof measurements, & potential obstructions. This information will be provided to our Engineering & Design Dept.
3. System Design
The result of the Site Survey, along with the original plans of your home from the city will allow our expert design team to customize the Solar Energy System specifically for your home.
4. Energy Efficiency Upgrades
Any & all Energy Efficiency Upgrades will be performed “along the way”, as scheduling of these services is done on a case by case basis. The implementation of these services will not affect the installation or completion of the solar project.
5. Permitting (City or County) & Interconnection with the Utility Co.
Once the system design & engineering has been completed, the designs will be submitted to the City or County for permitting purposes. The “Interconnection” process with your electric utility company will begin. (This is where we sit on our hands & wait… Thank you in advance for your patience.)
6. Installation!
Upon receipt of the permit(s) & Interconnection approval from the utility, We will contact you to schedule a date to have one of our expert installation teams install your customized solar electric system on your home. The installation “typically” takes just one day. Upon completion of the installation, the 2nd half of financed amount will be due.
7. Final Inspection
After completion & testing of the system installation & final funding, a member of our team will schedule to have the City / County inspection to close out the permit.
8. Interconnection
The utility company grants their “PTO” (Permission To Operate), the system gets turned on & you’re “Makin’ Juice”!
